Our Story

We are all about the music. Broadcasting 24/7 our core music is alternative and progress rock with some blues mixed in for flavor. It includes album versions of the music you know as well as a lot of new music from local bands, regional groups and singers. We love to hear from our listeners and encourage requests.

The Edge of the Universe was our first show that started the network. Since then we have added a number of additional shows and hosts to our line up. See the section below.

MONDAY: PASTWAX RADIO (OLDIES)

7 PM EST

Pastwax Radio, with host Phil Brickner, is a weekly radio show that features top 40's greatest hits from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. Along with the oldies, there's music and song histories, featured artists, and requests.

TUESDAY: DIRECT FROM MUSCLE SHOALS

8 PM EST

Join singer, song writer & producer Steve Foster for a program of music of new artist and songs. The show is produced in Muscle Shoals Alabama.

WEDNESDAY: ALBUM ROCK

7 PM Eastern

Join host Randy Berner as he explores Album Rock at it's finest. He dig deep into the albums of your favorite rock artists. Break out your air guitar and rock with us. The show also airs at 9 pm eastern on Altradio.org.

FRIDAY: LONG PLAY

11 PM EST

Tune in & turn on to the Friday Night Long Play. You will want your headphones handy. We hope you enjoy.

SATURDAY NIGHT: EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE

10 PM EST

This is one of the oldest and most popular shows on our station. The Edge of the Universe is a musical journey to alternative & indie rock with a mixture of blues, pop and old school progress rock. We feature local, national & international musicians. With music as our guide we never know where this musical journey wall take us. Tune in each week with your tour guide & host Steve Gimbert for a musical journey to the Edge of the Universe. (also available on Altradio.org)

SUNDAY: CHAMPAGNE AND COFFEE BRUNCH WITH KRISTY RAYE

6 AM EST

Grab your coffee, a glass of champagne if you wish and join Kristy Raye for some mellow music every Sunday Morning.

SUNDAY NIGHT: SONGS IN THE KEY OF BLUE

11 PM EST

Songs in the Key of Blue is a weekly radio show that features the down tempo sounds of selections from the different genres of music: from jazz to blues, classical to soundtrack, new age to pop. Host Sebastian Knight plays selections geared to blend your thoughts with a calm and relaxing mood. Sundays 11pm eastern.
